The NBA season is finally here, and college basketball is just around the corner. For every basketball fan this is an exciting time of the year, no more baseball and no more reading rumors and speculation, just games. At iTrainedU, we like to break the game down differently. Go watch our YouTube videos and you will see that NBA players are already using our moves.
Throughout the NBA and College season we will be highlighting certain plays and players which best demonstrate iTrainedU moves being used. We want everyone to see what these great players are doing to be so effective. You will hear commentators praise players for just being too fast or too strong to be stopped. In reality, we know that players are using skills to be great, not relying on physical strength or speed.
Within this blog, we have the ability to breakdown moves and show you exactly what players are doing to create space on offense, and also why they are doing it. A few times each week we will take select plays and show you the skills used to make them work.
Skills are what separate the great players from the good players. Watch James Harden play this week, you’ll see almost the entire iTrainedU manual demonstrated. We’ve highlighted Harden in a number of videos and posts before, because he is an “Unlocked” player. Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony are two other great examples of players who use iTrainedU moves every time they touch the ball.
Tonight, watch Chris Paul as he plays against the Lakers. He will use a number of great freestyle moves and initial attacks. Derrick Rose is another example of a player who uses skills in addition to great physical gifts to dominate on the court. His finishing moves are among the best in the game, and you’ll see a number of them in the iTrainedU program.
You will see both those great point guards subconsciously using test reads, attacking the defender in the neutral zone, and unleashing a series of devastating initial attacks. Follow us on Twitter tonight and we will point out some of the moves live. Check back later in the week for a more in-depth breakdown of a select few moves from tonight’s games.
Each week iTrainedU will post a video showing our moves in action, so be sure to check back often. You will see how the fundamentals, styles, moves, and rules of engagement taught in our program are used by the best players in the world on a nightly basis. Stay tuned.
